147 will work I use 308 data start low work up.
Lee has it in their book also and pretty sure hornady does also |

I load for it but have never come across any accurate loads for my 36 or 49/56

Yeah, I have data from a few manuals. Just wondering if anyone had decent luck (or not so decent luck) with one powder or another to see which way I want to start looking.
Kinda like there’s data for 8mm Mauser using TAC, but it won’t cycle the auto loader I tried it in. |

It was a 196gr FMJBT and it chrony’d about 23-2400 if memory serves me right. I can’t remember the specific charge. Rifle functioned fine with factory loads and another powder.
