I'm currently deciding between 2 piston .308's.  The SCAR has a lot of features I like, but I need more forward rail space for a PVS-22.  Has anyone tried the Midwest Industries SCAR rail extension?  The other option I'm looking at is the LWRC CSASS.

Dont forget PWS and Parker Mountain Machine and Kinetic Development Group

What I'm looking for is a continuous 12 o'clock rail, similar to the MK20.

Midwest industries scar rail is good to go. The full 4 rail handguard is the sturdiest your going to find for the scar. It replaces both the front sight and bottom rail and bolts to both points on the rifle. They are a bit heavier than the MLOK options though if that concerns you.

I have one on my MK20ish and it’s given me no trouble. Easy to install, rock-solid, and aesthetically pleasing (if that’s the look that you’re going for). FN makes a similar extension but it appears a bit bulkier.
