The search came back empty and I see a guy selling some locally.  Anyone have any experience with these?  

They claim they are tested to NIJ.06 specifications with M2AP (and all lesser threats) including:

   7.62 x 39 MSC
   7.62 x 51 M80 NATO
   5.56 x 45 SS109
   5.56 x 45 M193
   7.62 x 54R API
   7.62 x 63 M2 AP
   7.62 x 39 AK API.

   Each plate weighs 5.2lbs.  They are under an inch thick.

The lack of reference to where the plates are made (it just says "a certified factory!"), would suggest that it's probably made in China.

If you're going to buy a multicurved Level 4 plate made in China, you might as well buy the Botach one for half the price. And the Botach one has been independently tested by people like BuffmanRange and MrGunsnGear.
