Does anyone have any experience cutting a 16 inch 300 blackout barrel or a 556 barrel to a shorter length and what length did you go with?

A good friend of mine cut a Legacy 556 16" down to 9". PMM did the work. It runs like a raped ape.

I have an extremely early prototype 9" 556 (non self-regulating gas) - side by side, you can't tell the different between mine and his - either in aesthetics or in functionality.

PMM can do the taper and everything for you and I can't recommend them enough for your MCX work.

Good to know there first on the list to do the barrel cut. They just are not taking any new orders currently.
