This has probably been beaten to death. I and buying (well more like re-buying) a SCAR 17. I have a Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5 in a LaRue SPR 1.5 mount I would like to mount on it. I hate to be the noob, but will that setup last alright on the SCAR 17? I already ticked my wife off and don’t want to spend anymore money on a ADM Delta right now. Thanks for any information.

I think it will hold up just fine, you might get into something that doesn’t have cantilever sooner rather than later though

I ran a mk4 1.5-5 with mk 4 rings on my first SCAR 17s for about a year. Worked great. Like they said upgrade to a non cantilever mount when you can.

Not knocking Larue at all, but the ADM Delta was made for the SCAR. That’s what I use for my 17. Non-offset.

I ended up going with a non-offset Delta and a Leupold Mk8 1-8. I’m very happy with this setup.
