ATF is supposed to update their processing times every 90 days per the Office of Management & Budget.
I've sent them at least three emails requesting the reason why they havent done so. Never received a response.
Today they updated

Current Processing Times as of June 30, 2022

Understand this doesn't mean if you file a form today, it will be approved in the time frame as shown.
Depending on the volume of paper forms and eforms submitted the average processing time may be faster or slower.

But, but, but Tom........its supposed to be 90 day approvals for eForms!
ATF never said that. They did state that their goal was 90 day approvals. (its at the end of their Youtube tutorial on eForm 4's)

Again, that 100 days average was for applications approved in the period ending June 30.
If your eForm 4 is approved in 150 days, that average isn't calculated until the end of that next reporting period.

I have no doubt that eForm 4 approvals will be significantly longer the next time ATF decides to release processing times. Likely 150 day averages.

Form 4 Trust wishes it was 12 months. It’s been 15 months. Was 12 months for the other suppressor bought on the same day. Really want my Mask, dangit.

neat that they updated it, i didnt even know that existed. i would never use that as a guide though.

the tracking threads on here are far more helpful than that.

12 months, what a fucking joke. Should have had my buddy transfer from his trust to his SOT, then done an eform 4....would be closer to 6-7 months for 2 transfers vs over a year for one.

Looks like form 1 eforms is now at 60. Perhaps gone are the <<28 day approvals for F1s. Though maybe with confusion over suppressor parts and intent and all the F1 denials, it's all messed up. Not my bag, so I haven't followed the recent drama.

I've noticed the tracker on SilencerShop has been rising steadily since I bought mine. Think it started out for an individual ef4 at ~132 days and is now at 151.

Definitely seems like February through late March submissions got badly hosed and are running 150 days plus, but April and later seem to be coming back closer to the 90 day-ish “normal” time. Not much to do but just wait for them to get cleared out.

Seems like they started doing late April a while back and skipped February thru late March. Now they’re back to February, but haven’t seen any April in a while. I think a few people got lucky with April approvals, everyone before that is getting hosed. And it may be a while for other late April get around to being approved. The whole system is wonky…

No I meant the SS NFA wait time tracker, it's a rolling average of the last 7 days of approvals through them. I purchased 6/1 and submitted 6/23. I'm hoping for October.
