I have been looking for an AR50 replacement screw for the bolt stop. Preferably one that doesn't need a tool to remove.  Can someone link me to one?

Thanks!

I take it that you have an older AR-50? The newer ones have a spring loaded release from what I've seen.

I have an older design and use a thumbs crew on mine. Most of them were custom made but you might be able to find something similar.

I don't think I have an extra, I might be able to point you in the right direction. Let me get a good contact for you and I'll post it.

ETA: Try [email protected] ask for Darin, tell him what you're looking for and that Shawn sent you. If anyone has one, it will be him.

Thank you!  Yes, I have one from the 1st year of production. I don't get out to shoot it too often, but I took my daughter out shooting it yesterday and the small inconvenience of needing a tool was brought to the surface when I was cleaning it...

Someone made a set of screws to replace the bolt stop and recoil pad screws where they were adjustable without tools.

As 50 shooter said, I think it was Darin @ prince bipods, but it might be Allied Precision. APA.

Thanks for the link! Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know how that bipod attaches to a rifle? I am trying to find a Barrett-style bipod that will attach to a picatinny rail. The M60 style in the link looks good, but it doesn't mention how it attaches to your rifle?

Walter over at Safety Harbor Firearms, makes an M60 bipod adapter that you might be able to modify for your use:
