Trying to install a zhukov handguard on a AK shotgun I’ve found scope rings that fit the barrel perfectly and fit the magpul handguard great, any tips to get the scope rings to mount inside of the handguard?

Drill and tap them like the original barrel clamps. Looking at them I would personally remove all of the clamping hardware from the rings and mill them flat, then drill and tap. This would also raise the handguard position up which would probably look better too.

Hey thanks for the help it’s got a few more fit and finish to take care of but it’s almost done
