It's not just East German property marked, it's East German made. Called the P 1001, the "ac" and " Zella Mehlis" were later stamped on the slide to sell as surplus. The gun was made in Suhl. These were made post war for the VOPO.

First of all, any PP for $225 is a no brainer, and this has some real interesting history behind it, never heard of re-stamping them...
I think its an awesomely cool pick up! |
