Anyone out there handled or shot the Kahr/Auto Ordinance 9mm Thompson?
Curious about reliability, and what type of magazine it's using. Any info from folks with hands-on experience would be appreciated. |

Vaporware.
They announced them a couple of years back. I have never seen one. Ever. A/O is fail on this one. |

Well.... not a lot of info out there that's for sure.
BallisticMag.com has a Sept. 22 2020 article... https://www.ballisticmag.com/2020/09/22/auto-ordnance-1927a-1c-tommy-gun/ But I couldn't see any of the actual firearms in stock.. ( hard to tell what that means nowadays ) The various places that "show" them for sale.. have no reviews. |

I don't think they exist. I was also interested in getting one for myself for Sh^t and giggles.

I've handled one, aluminum receiver so it is lighter but still has the ergonomics of a 2x6. With proprietary mags you can't buy cheaper surplus mags and modify them or the mag catch like the 45 guns.
I have an SBR M1 version and I like it but it really is a wannabe without the fun switch. I think 9mm would be disappointing. |
