Interesting project. I would just go with the 1.75"x10" on that host since all I would use it for would be plinking around, IDK if the added volume will make much difference, but really no way to tell without being able to do R&D. Bowers made the Verse 45 1.75x11.25 so I would assume there is some gain or they would have made it smaller. Curious to see if anyone can find a cutaway of the Vers 45 to see what they did in there. Are you machining this out or trying to source parts to alter?

Would you rather a slimmer OD?
Mine uses a 1-3/8"OD x 9LG suppressor ( I believe we've spoke on this)
I'm sure a 1.5x10 would be great
1.625x10 better
and 1.75x10 best

I built a fixed 10" 1.5" can clipped cone baffles for my 9mm AR. 45 cal bore.

It is really quiet!

I’m worried 1.5” isn’t enough diameter

Here is a 9x1.625 I did for a dedicated 300blk bolt action SBR upper build on working on. This thing is stupid quiet with subs on an AR, only the smallest puff and action noise) so I can’t wait to get it on the bolt upper.

The Dino cone faces are too small for a 45 cal, but I would do the same layout only substituting radials.

This is set up on a cherry bomb system. You can see the spacer in the back, plus a 1” step in tube gives me a BC of 1.75” putting the face of the step cone right off the cherry bomb.

.735 skirt on the step cone, .5 for all the dinos except the last two that were trimmed down somewhere around .4-.35, I forget exactly now.

I wish the cones were Ti instead of 17-4, this thing complete with Ti Plan B is 22oz…

They'd be fine, it's a truncated cone.

Technically yes, but there would be basically barely any cone left opening it to 33/64ths.

They'll be fine.
The Dino's are 50* and the face has a dia of .4. Just a little math tells me a .515 drill would remove <1/8" from the cone's overall height.
