With all of the recent events at Remington, some parts have been unobtainium for about a year now.  Does anyone have info on when parts may become available again?  I have an 870 express here just waiting.  I've actually considered making one, but there's some odd dimensions/radius stuff going on for such a small hard to hold the part.  Bot to mention, the factory ones break, tempering is obviously an issue.

Just buy one.  Poppert's list it, check for actual availability.
The Express used a MIM ejector the Wingmaster/Police a milled part, but they're interchangeable.

You'll need a special rivet staking tool and the receive will need a refinish to do it right............

$5.00.

Also there are some on Ebay.

I haven't found one in stock anywhere.  The standard right hand 12ga express (AKA 2-3/4 & 3")  I've only found other gauges, left hand or the 2-3/3 only.    I'll follow up with propperts, they don't make it easy.

ETA: in my searches, I've found threads about a year old about people having the same problem.

That's an extractor, I haven't found another manufacturer making ejector.

Good luck, the 12ga ejectors and rivets have been hard find for the past several months. I once found a few on Ebay but even those are now apparently only available in the smaller gauges. Hopefully one of these day the "new" Remington will restock parts at the usual suppliers (but I bet it will take a while)

If you find a 2 3/4” ejector you can grind back the ledge 1/4” and it will work just fine. All other dimensions are the same on the 2 3/4” and 3” part.
