Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 870 Barrels?

Looking for some input on some good after market 870 market barrels. A couple of months ago @whiskersthecat and I crudely chopped down my original 870 to an 11 inch barrel. Right now there is no sight at all, just an 11in barrel. Was looking for something with a bead, possibly a ghost ring set up in the future. Any good recommendations?

In for other answers, but Rose Acton Sports has done many an SBS owner good work.

You could get the sights done at the same time.

I cut mine down to 14" and then put ghost ring sights.

Then I had a gunsmith take over and thread so I could use choke tubes.

Cost a lot less than buying a barrel with the sights and threading already done.
