I purchased Trail Boss after reading an old thread on here where everyone claimed it was the best way to start, but MV is all over the place, and I can barely fit anything in the case with these massive 190 and 208 grain pills. I need it to cycle an AR15 standard buffer and spring (I'm using this same lower for 6.5 grendel for Axis deer on this hunt) out of a 16" bbl with carbine gas. I'd still like 2" or less for head shots (hence why MV StD of 100 fps is unacceptable).

For those who hate me, here is my justification: Maker low velocity expansion bullets get around 19" consistent penetration in ballistics gel at 100 yards with MV reading 1000 fps. My shots with the x39 will be on hogs, mostly 60-80 yards, but never more than 90.

Even for heavier 190, 208 grain pills? I was concerned anything that performed well with 123gr might not be the best option for 208's

It works great in my 300 blackout subsonics from 147’s to 230’s, worth a try since the case capacities are similar, i dont have my numbers in front of me but i got strangely good Es and Sd numbers, i think i was around 11ish grains, you may need more for the larger case capacity

Edit, h110 didn’t cycle my bolt subsonic with any weight bullet
