Got to test out my subsonic loads on a pig this last weekend. And the results were awesome.

Very nice!  Yeah, heavy bullets even at ~1,000 fps are hard to stop!...  And you get a gold star for excellent shot placement - not easy with a round with a trajectory like a rainbow!  

What 190 you using?  I usually use 220s...

I was pretty skeptical, especially at 100 yards. But that damn bullet did some damage.

Mine are a little smaller though (170gr)

I was a little worried about stabilization of the really big stuff.

I think part of the issues with subs stem from the fact that a lot of .30 rounds are designed to perform at higher velocities.   There are also rounds that are more likely to perform better at low velocities (like flat nose or soft points). Projectile choice is probably more important in this context than many others.  I’m told they expand pretty well at low velocities, but I haven’t had a chance to put them to the test.
