Man I need to get a binary.

How much tinkering did you have to do to get it to run 100%?

Wasn't necessary.  It ran like a top from day 1.

I tested a variety of different ammo.  The gun ate everything up, but CCI SV gave me the least blowback.  I'll probably try the cheaper CCI Blazer when I run out of SV, though I've got plenty of SV to last awhile.

Yeah I think I like the van tucked under the rail.

Here are some pics with a mag. Looks a little better than the photos I took at work.

Thanks.  I zoomed in on the photo and found the name and looked at the site.  I really like that one.   I will be getting one to replace the troy I have on my .22 SBR.

Not exactly SBRs, but they are .22s and have short barrels & silencers.

@ConcernedCitizen

Sorry for the ridiculously late reply.  It's an ACE aluminum folder.  I ended up replacing it with the steel version due to wear.

Also, since I have the opportunity to update, I got the KNS MCX stock adapter in the mail today and installed it.  I love the stock, but the adapter doesn't hold in the takedown pin spring and detent; I need to dig up some of those tiny screws to fix it.

Thanks for the info!

The set screw for the rear takedown pin is a #4-40. If your lower isn't already tapped for it, it's real easy to do yourself.

If you can't find any set screws locally, just send me an IM and I'll mail you a couple!

What VFG are you using here with the built in hand stop?
Link Posted: 8/3/2018 8:07:01 AM EDT
[#24]
Mine was homemade. It's a HK mp5k grip, with the top cut down, and a tango down rail cover melted/fused to the HK grip.

The closest thing to it that I've found that is a one piece factory made item, is a Russian molot grip.

Mine is the A3 Tactical with long grip.  I also bought the "grenade" grip for my MPX (that's still in jail) and love that thing too.

@Evil_Ryu which binary is that? I heard they don't work well with 22s, which would be pretty much my only reason to get one.

Franklin Armory BFS-3.  Its worked perfectly from the start. Only problems have been the usual failures you get with 22 ammo.

10” whistle pig barrel.

My F1 is for a 8” barrel. Pretty hard to find aftermarket takedown bull barrels in short lengths. Think I may leave it at 10” tho.

How does your CHD sound compared to the other cans?

That LWRC stock looks good on your build man I need one but hate that dang price tag. Mainly bc I am cheap.

Yes sir.  Looks wonky as f8ck uncut.  There are some internal ribs that provide a "finished" look.  I originally had the agp....but there is nothing to hold onto and the lop is too long for my wife and kids.  I had a duplicate axiom on a norrell 10/22 i had also.  Im a fan so far.

What full buffer tube folder are you guys using?  The LAW is nice, but at $300 it's a tough nugget for what is already a two stamp gun..

I'm using a CMMG kit in mine, so I'd like to use a full tube adapter in the event I feel like shooting a few 556 throught

ETA  pic. It's the upper one. 7.5". The suppressor is a form 1 that is in the works... The other is an 8.5" 300BO. The Saker for it is still in jail.
