it will fit. I have 13.7" barrel, 13" G rail, and GA tapermount/sportsmen.

Only pic I've got but this is a 10.5" Colt barrel (was a 14.5" cut by ADCO) with a Geissele Mk4 9.5" with a direct thread Trek-T on the end. My cover doesn't let you see the gap but it's decent. You should have more than enough room.

10.5" with a Rugged Surge. Not sure the taper mount on the recce, but the mount on this clears easily but its a tight/awkward fit actually turning the lock ring
