Looking for it to be about 6-7 inches long, 4-5 baffles. 10.5-16” barrel.

I’m in the middle of researching stuff, haven’t found anything on this.

I did it.  Form 1, Ecco rebuild.  Made it to 7.62 specs so I can try it out on my AK or my M1A. It’s the SDTA 7.7 barrel shroud with their end caps and adapter to use the Griffin taper mount.

Got to add, it is fairly quiet. My goal was something that would keep me from losing my hearing if I had to use it in a home defense situation. Shooting it without earpro is doable without pain, but I would not do it on a regular basis.

Depending on how you plan to mount it, 1.75” tube might have fewer options for the rear cap/mount than other tube sizes. Otherwise if you can source all the parts it should be a feasible design.

I assume all the cones were made by ECCO? I would think volume is volume so.....go for it.

Trying to find yhm mounts is tricky. Trying to do a form 1 allying with a four for a turbo. May have to come down in size to keep the mounts standard.

Seems to be a common theme with quality Form 1 parts.

My only 1.75" can is bored (generously) for .308, but I've used it more on 5.56 than anything else.

Like the above poster said, I can shoot it without hearing protection, but probably wouldn't want to do it often.

Overall, great performing and versatile can.
