If you don't like it (they're ugly to me) go hold one at a gunshop or find someone who has one you can shoot. Whatever you do buy something that's an assault rifle, you can get the other stuff after the next ban.

A .50 BMG upper and a .22lr conversion bolt for the AR. You practice for a cent a round, and can kill paper from a thousand yards on one trigger. Plus, I think that capability would be impressive in one rifle case.

You need a full size pistol, preferably 9mm. Even a semi-compact like a Glock 19 would be ok. Right not all you have are belly guns.

Find out what kind of trigger/safety mech you like and then pick from there:

SA/DA:

Beretta 92
Sig-226
CZ-75D

SA only:

Hi Power
CZ-75B/SP-01 (actually SA/DA with a manual safety)

I vote for anything in 10 mm. I know that is a switch in caliber for you - but they're great fun!
