Please lets make sure we know whats involved with taking orders on 1000 to 2000 mags. First, if the average order is say, 7, thats 143 orders for 1,000 mags and nearly $20,000 in cash. We would have to hold that money, until we reached 20K and could take delivery of the mags, no easy feat. I don't know anybody going to do this for free.

I'm out if they're not USGI, still plenty of cheap Taiwanese mags on the market if I wanted cheaper mags that function, so I'm out.

# of firm commitments with a quantity stated: 227 Mags for 30 members. If a quantity range was given I tallied off the minimum. That's far off from 1K mags.

CMI is about three towns from me and I work P/T in a gunshop. I can ask my boss (FFL) if he wants to get involved. If he does it won't be for free and I'm sure there will be some kind of minimum order (I'm thinking lots of five) to make it as painless as possible. Also, all laws will apply and the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs. Keep in mind this may not be an overnight deal as the mags may not be on hand and CMI may have to manufacture these.

I'll ask my boss about it today and see what he thinks. If he would like to proceed I will contact Site Staff to receive permission.

I will email CMI for a price for 500.

A minimum order of at least 5 is definitely necessary - a mag purchase of 2 or 3 mags is out of the question.

One thing I have not done is give a "heads up" on Jouster.com and battlerifles, I'm sure there is a bunch of folks over there that would be interested. Also would promote AR15, as many over there have probably not visited the site. I changed emails and I'm having a bitch of a time logging in anywhere, including Jouster
