I just fo'd, added my first Tavor to the armory.

Ditto. Had always intended to get an AUG and in fact have a stack of 42rnd mags and Manticore accessories, but this SAR was an impulse buy.

Me, too. Impulse buy for sure. I purchased one right before I left to run errands. I almost decided to wait until I returned home. When I got back an hour later, they were gone. Glad I followed my gut.

I am soooo close after almost buying that SAR IDF...they will be out in the next 30 min. Started with like 400 of these suckers, down to less than 20 now.

I had to do it. I knew I would regret it if I didn't. I already regretted not buying the FDE one and got a second chance with the OD, which I like better anyhow. I am surprised they haven't sold out yet.

My FDE Tavor from PSA came in today. It came with a black Gen3 Pmag, but the MCT Pmags match the FDE perfectly.

Shot the Tavor for the first time yesterday and got it sighted in. The weight of the trigger pull is no joke - I literally thought I left the safety on at one point. Other than that, what a fun-shooting rifle. Using the Romeo 5 red dot sight, the rifle was shooting 3 MOA.

I went with a ShootingSight trigger pack and it's great now. I've heard an X95 trigger pack is good but I haven't tried that yet.

Smga $1099 of green came in today I'm still unsure if I'm going to use the 1-4 vortex or the Aimpoint red dot. But this has to be one of the cooler guns I've bought lol should get to run a few rounds through it tomorrow

Thanks for posting the links! I'm hoping to sell a couple of my rifles and pick one up. I'm on the fence Sar or X95.

The Tavor is the only rifle that I like in FDE. I also like it in OD.

Agreed, not as good as the black Friday sales but close, I missed out so picked one of those up to go x95. 150 more and typically the fde models are 100 more so let’s say 250 more but still at least 300-400 less than normal. Plus aren’t these going away soon? I thought the x95 was set to fully replace those on the us market

It has been my understanding that IWI already stopped producing SARs, very shortly after the X95 release?

Just wondering if anyone else that got in on this or the green Tavors at smga could tell me if yours included the cleaning kit? I watched a few videos on some unboxing and everyone had a tan pouch with a cleaning kit and sling swivels. My green Tavor didn't have that stuff it had a bag of paper work in that there was a iwi zipper pull and a tiny baggie with the sight adjustment tool. I'm just trying to find out if the newer ones being sent out still had that stuff or if maybe the videos I watched were just older and they no longer include any of that.

It should come with the cleaning kit. I believe all IWI Tavor series of rifles come with them. I would contact seller and then contact IWI.

Yes, mine did come with two QD swivels. They were packaged in the same bag as the manual.

If I recall correctly it was something like $165 total. And worth every penny.
