Start with chamber brush cleaning the chamber with CLP, and them get the chamber and bore dry with clean mops.
Next, check the gas system and key to top of carrier for leaks.
From here, check the rifle with USA 223 brass case ammo, once the rest of the rifle has been cleaned and it upper bearing area lubed with CLP. If rifle will run with say Fed 223 ammo, but not the wolf and import, and dam sure you don't have a gas leak in the gas block, gas block to barrel leak or misaligned, or chamber is not reamer chatter city, then double check your buffer weight, and confirm that the recoil spring is the correct length.
My guess, either gas key to top of carrier leak, or gas block not indexed correctly to the barrel gas port, leaking between the barrel to block, or major leak at the block gas adjustment screw isntead.
