Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - left hand upper fit on right hand lower?

Purchased a Stag arms left hand ar ( 5.56) for my grandson & he is pretty good with it.  I have a right handed .300 blackout upper but can't remember if a right hand upper will function on a left handed lower. Do not have access to rifle at present.  Thanks for help.  Larry
