I have a 45 acp ar and it uses the grease gun mags.
was disappointed to find they are single feed double stack mags. I did a bit of searching, even the 45 acp uzi is a single feed double stack mag. The thompson seems to be, but would require way too much modification to make it run. is there another choice? |

Not sure what the problem is my grease gun mags work perfectly well.

I am not saying they don't work.
It is just so much easier to load the UZI type mag.  And since I got my 45 can, it seems like I would like to shave time off. lol. |

45 Uzi mags are single feed as well....
 Might want to try Macon Armory mags, adapter, and loader..... Using the Macon Armory Mag loader |
