Is a 416 bolt a drop in for a piston ar? Is it milspec dimensions? Or does it require a proprietary barrel extension? I got one for cheap as part of a trade and trying to find a use for it. Thanks

It's proprietary... and flipping expensive/hard to get by itself.

HK 416 bolts are only for hk 416's or MR556's. I doubt they would fit anything else out there.

Yep. They only are for HK 416s or MR556. I prefer the 416 FA myself. ;)
