Anyone have any opinion on bipod position when running a bipod (magpul, mlok) on a rifle used in competition?  The handguard is 13", mlok bottomed.  Specifically, shooting through 9 holed VTACs with a bipod is what i'm asking about.  I've shot it some in different locations, and here's what I've got;
If it's mounted towards the front, I can swing it backwards and still work the muzzle through ports on a vtac but my support hand grips the (now) backwards bipod legs.
If it's mounted near the magwell the whole time, I can pretty much leave the legs down til I have to do the bottom cuts.  I usually do the bottom cuts with my head on the carpet, but I think I'll have to work on the prone with splayed arms some.

Anyone have any pearls of wisdom for me on this?
