I got mine a few months back. No owner's manual, no additional front sight post. It shoots well with a red dot. A while back I got the T91 fixed rear sight from t91tactical. This came with a shorter, A1 style round front sight post. I installed the shorter front sight post and the T91 rear sight but could not get it to zero at 25 yards. I was forced to adjust in the front sight until it was essentially at the lowest point possible. Because of this the sight picture is quite poor (just a little stub left for a front sight post) yet it was still shooting low. Has anyone else had this problem? I read that the Wolf A1 (T91) has a gas block that's higher than the true Taiwanese T91 for which the rear sight was designed, so even using their shorter front sight post the heights are still off.
That said it is not easy to adjust the front sight post that the Wolf A1 came with. The Wolf front sight post is thicker than the normal A2 adjustment tool, so I had to use a pin to depress the detent and turn one click at a time. The teeth of the A2 adjustment tool didn't fit deep enough to depress the detent.
All in all I like the Wolf A1 upper. I have since removed the T91 rear sight, replaced back the Wolf A1 front sight post, and installed a Troy fixed rear sight. Since the Wolf A1 came with a front sight I'd like to set this up to shoot iron sights, but like I wrote earlier my first setup used a red dot and the upper functioned flawlessly.
Any insights on why the T91 rear sight, even when I used the included shorter front sight post, could not zero would be helpful.
Thanks
