Really like my Wolf A1 upper, but wanted another one with a longer barrel and longer sight radius. I had the A1 gas block reamed to .750" and installed on a 17.7" Ballistic Advantage barrel. Also playing with the idea of using this retro upper receiver, but not 100% sold on it yet. The front sight/flash hider is from Ultradyne.

This is my other Wolf A1 upper with a T91 front sight swap.

It looks like the front sight is a tad higher than the rear sight. Or is it a trick of the pic?

Just the perspective, everything lines up fine.

Took a bit of work and it's not perfect, but I was able to adapt this old handguard to work

That's pretty damn cool, have you shot it yet? How's the accuracy?

My current T91 is a 14.5 PW heavy barrel, honestly wonder sometimes how it would be if it had a pencil barrel, Wylde, 1/8, 5R barrel instead.

FWIW, the Rosco patrol length gas barrels can be used with minimal modifications. Only mod needed is a small groove to clear the hand guard pin.

So the T91 uses midlength barrels?

No, the Wolf gas length is slightly shorter than mid length. The gas block is also a different diameter. 11mm going from memory. An option is to turn down and set back the gas block shoulder on a mid length barrel. Not sure how the gas port works out as I went a different route. The Rosco barrel has a proprietary gas length that is shorter than mid length and longer than carbine. It can be made to work with the Wolf A1 with minimal modification if you source an 0.750 gas block (used to be available from T91 Tactical).

I build a T91 using that Rosco barrel. With that barrel it is much easier compared with other mid-length AR15 barrels. Hope they make 14.5 one with that gas system.

A Taiwanese company called BiaoTac is making them. It is well made, probably the best aftermarket hand-guard for T91 on the market. Rock solid.

What is involved in swapping the upper receiver? Any pics of it apart? Thanks
