Haven't seen any reviews.  The LGS has a large pile of this in stock, albeit at $1/each.

Intended purpose would be for very close-range personal defense.  Suppressed (naturally).

Thoughts?

Haven't seen it but am interested for same said purpose.
Still, no subs will touch Barnes supers for terminal effect.

No arguments there.

Still, would like some actually expanding subs for reasons.

Lehigh and Makers are still your best bets.

Hornady and Sig for less money (and expansion).

Yes OP, I have been hoping for some solid data on this Winchester load as well.

Is this going to be going fast enough to actually open up? I’d worry that Winchester just loaded up a pre-existing heavy grain .30 projectile to market it as a 300blk sub round, but that the projectile was designed around much higher velocities. I’m not saying that’s the case, but it sure is a common song and dance with this caliber unfortunately.

Local shop has some on the shelf, may pick up a few boxes to test.

That looks like a worthwhile round for me to test 300 BO :D Who has some in stock? Although I only have a 10.5" right now, would that suffice?

That's what I would be shooting it out of.
