I have previously contact Magpul about purchasing PMAG 40rd guts. They said they would not sell them. For reference, I was interested in purchasing about 100.

I could remember buying them a few years back new a guy who sold new Sterling AR180 40rnd mag bodies only so I would get a few 40rnd springs and some magpul antitilt followers to make new mags. I cant believe their are no companies making these anymore ?

Regrettably, it appears the only choices are to buy a 40rd mag to ratfuck the spring, or to buy one of the “extra power” 30rd springs.

Only place I ever saw them really was Brownells years back had two brands. They were high and at the time you could by the cheaper brand 40 round metal mags with the springs in them for the same price or less.

Not a problem I had a problem posted here for like minded individuals  to reply talked it out and passed on the good info!  I gotta say Marc is a nice guy he was fast on emails with me and he remembered who I was when I called.  I like that about a company anyway I am glad to help out my fellow riflemen! Get them while you can he did say he had a bunch on a shelf but that doesnt mean they make them probably left overs anyway good luck!
