Generally they are usually OOS. Get on a few wait lists, or backorder. I backordered one a year ago and I had it in 2-3 months.
Do know that while a very nice receiver, the gen3’s are somewhat of a PITA to find hand guards for. They are much thicker behind the bbl extention threads. As such, most rails with anti rotation tabs will not fit w/o some modification. |

Good to know. I'll sign up for a few in stock notifications. Sound like gen 1 is the gen for me. The fit of an Aero Precision upper and a Noveske lower is terrible where the buffer/bolt carrier rides. Makes gas to the face pretty bad when suppressed.

As much as people like to complain about opticsplanet, that is where I bought my gen III. They allow you to backorder items. Your card is not charged until it ships, which is nice if you happen to find one elsewhere, you can cancel the order.

Gen1 looks like a standard forged upper.
I don't see it being much different from the Aero you have |
