I have built a few complete ar15 uppers and lowers. I have a SBRed lower sitting around that I need an upper for. I sold all my uppers but a 300 blk 10.2 inch.

I don't really like 5.56 but i do have a 5.56 suppressor sitting around collecting dust.

Current calibers are .22, 9mm and 300 blk. I reload so i don't want to venture out to much in terms of calibers.

Any ideas?

If you have a suppressor but it build around a Sionics 11.5 inch reduced gas port barrel (.070)

You could also do a MK18 with the Daniel defense mk18 upper or one of the androcorp crane spec barrels

The mk18's are cool but I prefer the 11.5 for better reliability (dwell time) and better ballistics

Black River tactical also had some reduced port barrels for suppressed use that are solid

That is an interesting idea. Still not sure if I want to build a 5.56 though. Also have a 30 cal can sitting around. Gemtech Dagger.

What would you like to do with it? Having to skip 5.56 and you reload? 6.5 Grendel or .458 SOCOM.

But really I would do a .556.

If you have a 30 Cal suppressor a 12 inch 6.5 grendal build is a good idea. Check the ar variants section. A dinner here had all kinds of info on the barrel length both suppressed and not. Reaching out to 800 no problem

Thanks for the idea. After a little research it sounds like an interesting round

Well since you have a 5.56 suppressor sitting around you might as well put it to use.  The Ghost Firearms 10.5" and 7.5" 5.56 Uppers come in 6 different color options and are proudly made in Daytona Beach, FL.  We stand behind our product 100% and I'm sure you will be pleased with the quality.

I know I’m impatiently waiting for that new handguard that was teased on your Instagram! It’s looking awesome in that burnt bronze.

Ordered a M4E1 Threaded Stripped Upper to start the upper build. Now to decide on a 6.5 grendel SBR barrel.

Do you have any lowers that are stripped but fully milled?
