It's a 16" 556 ar15. I learned more about the timing where it's either all ports at 12oclock or for right handed having some of the ports to the right. The warcomp comes with instructions for setting it up for either direction. What I don't know is what I'd prefer. Neutral vs timing for right hand? I do sometimes shoot off a bench and attach a bipod which I think the right hand timing may make the bipod lift to one side. I'm having a really hard time deciding between neutral or right handed. I'm leaning towards neutral unless having it timed for right handed really makes shooting it standing/on the move significantly better.

Body weight and firing stance can also influence your choice in the timing aspect. ( Well it did for me , 210lbs, 6' )
I would try it at the "half way" point, and see if you like it.
I did quite a bit of trial and error when setting up mine. I would snug it up to about what I thought would work, and give it a whirl.
I could feel the differences between neutral and right bias... and I realize it probably would never be "exactly" right.
I focused on prone firing position, rather then bench position, since the Warcomps are on more "fighting" oriented AR's. IE, Flash suppression, and staying on target during rapid fire, by limiting muzzle rise.
After finally deciding what appeared to be the right timing... only then would I use the supplied thread locker.
I also use the Warden blast shield... so I want the Warcomp to be semi permanent in place, so my heavy handed attaching / removal of the Warden wouldn't cause the Warden to come loose.
