I have several of these lights from back in the day, and they've mostly been living in a drawer the past couple years. I'm totally ignorant when it comes to lights - is there an easy manner by which I can update these lights with new LED heads? Is it cheaper to just buy a couple new lights? These will live on a couple beater rifles.
Unsure of the model. They've got the integrated ARMS throw-lever mount.  Attached FileTrying to figure out my options, and appreciate any advice. |

Looks like a model variation of the 951. Makoff makes an led replacement for it around $40.

Used them for my Sureire MP5 light. Got mine from http://brightflashlights.com

I would sell them in the EE for $65-$75 each and then buy the newer Surefire 600 lumen single mode G2X LED models for $50 and your choice of Mount.

ETA: ...And since you would be a new customer, you can also save 20% if you see this pop up & sign up for their email  I have done this change to a few 951's and played lego's: This one has a Overready battery extender, so I get the M61's input up to its full rated 9vdc, further extending run time, and pushing the switch back (mounted here, using my USGI M1 carbine's bayonet lug)
