The OP doesn’t say so explicitly, but a Universal Industries / Simmonds mag with a metal follower is presumably a 20-rounder rather than a 30. And it would have been produced well before the ‘94 AWB that brought in date codes.
As for value, I dunno, but pre-ban mags were grandfathered in Massachusetts. At one time they could easily go for $20–30, but I don’t know whether that’s still true. |
