Midwest Industries lightweight rails are slim at the barrel nut lock up and quite lighter vs Aero atlas, most rails out there etc.

Midwest industries has a lightweight and ultra lightweight handguard. They're both the same except the barrel nut/bolts.
I'm an ultralight builder. I replaced my pin/welds with OG BCM KMRs for them after a lot of research. Honestly would consider that line one if the lightest for a non compromising handguard. They were also compatible with KMR barrel nuts, being the same dimensions. |

ALG is one of the best rails you can't find anymore.
Wish G would get back to making them.... I have several. They are light and solid. |

2A Armament makes great rails with zero extra protrusion in front of the handguard. Their lockup is alo rock solid.
I also like the BCMs. |
