I came to ask about this optic with an FSB, is it distracting?

For me, the FSB is distracting with any 0/low power optic at cowitness height...
I have one rifle with a fixed FSB and it has irons in the rear.

It doesn't bother me but I'm also fine using a red dot with a FSB rifle.  If you're ok with that, this set up should work for you.  That said, I'm thinking of getting a riser or higher QD mount for it to see if I like that more.  I have a 16" non-FSB I can put the 2x on, but really like it on my 12.5".

Are the Height over bore measurements available for the different spacers please? And i don't suppose you know when it will be added to Strelok?

My first PA Optic purchase and i've got to say this looks like it might become a true classic for competition work.

Engineering came back with height over rail.  With the 3 spacers height over rail is 1.41", 1.535", 1.64" With no spacer height is 1.075".

Any plans for a spacer that would yield a 1.93” height?

Keeping this optic. Sure enough that I am going to rattlecan it...that kinda makes it a permanent commitment.

I know I would buy one.  Being same footprint as the mini ACOG, I think they would sell.

Would that be lower 1/3? Since I am running a FSB I think that would be my preferred height.

With the tallest mount in the box (I believe 1.64”) the FSB is visible, but the reticle ranging line seems to sit above the FSP, at least with my cheek weld and F marked FSB on BCM Kino upper.  It’s ok, as it’s similar to a red dot/FSB combo sight picture.  I’d like to try a taller mount mostly out of curiosity, since I’ve never tried a 1.93”.

Best pic I can get to show what I mean:

Yes 50 yard zero

So, out of a16" ar, this will be a 50 yd/250yd zero?

Is that specific to 55gr mil or 62 he mil?

Thanks, too many good reviews here, great job PA.

I'm seriously considering putting up my Aimpoint for trade on one of these. Is anyone running one of these on a pistol/SBR? How do you like it if so?

I know that but I’d want the FSB as out of the way as possible.

Just received a couple of days ago & haven't had a chance for a range session yet to zero but first impressions, very impressed w/ the build quality & glass... even the packaging was upscale. Long time owner & fan of the 1-6x ACSS scopes but the GLx2 is built to a noticably higher standard.

I sold an Aimpoint to fund my GLX-2X.  Haven't regretted it at all, if that helps.

That's good to know. I always thought the 3X and 5X prisms had better glass than the 1-6, so I'm glad that's the case here too.

Ever thought of putting an etching (or silkscreen) of the reticle w/ ranges on the top or side if the optic's body?

I just wondered if QC was done in house (USA) or on site at the manufacture site? Normally i wouldn't care but its taking a long time to ship stuff from certain places (China ironically seems ok)
My local posty is wondering what the hell i'm building because there's a lot of weird post coming in at the moment.... It sucks to be a shooter in the UK you can't get jack locally and everything good costs a Firstborn child and a Kidney to buy :)

I needed to have 8 kidneys to pay for my KL-12 (not helped by my love of Four Roses bourbon either) :)
