I know this has probably already been covered 1,000 times - and I apologize - but how/where are you gents obtaining your green/emerald parts? I've been periodically checking Geissele's website and I've never seen a green anything on their site. Discontinued? Poorly updated website? Any help would be appreciated.

Federal gov exclusive issued goodies available to the general public around Black Friday-ish timeframe only.

And if that happens again is a huge question nobody can seem to answer. The ODG rails where supposed to be a "one time thing" but then it happened twice. Rumor was there was enough "contract overruns" to make it possible. It seems like the batch from the last BFS was more emerald than ODG. I scored a Gov CH but it matches my GripStop so I'm not mad about it.

@UncleD if you are really jonezin to get a ODG rail I have a spare i'd sell but it wasn't cheap. I bought an overpriced one from EE in hopes to better match my other ODG stuff. Turns out its pretty much the same as I had already.

@delta_romeo_echo

Good to know, and the more I read the more I realize the ODG stuff may become the "hens teeth" of G AR goodies.

I have no horse in the race, as I'm good with my builds as is. But if I had to do it all over again, I'd have nailed a rail & ACH. Oh well.

Rock on

ETA: Love the color match between the CH and handstop. looks great!

I like it a lot so far.  It allows you to route the cable underneath it so you don’t have to zip tie anything.  It gives a very clean install

Here is a pair I put together with the URG-I uppers in 14.5 and 10.3.

The 14.5 URG-I is on a Geissele DDC receiver set with Geissele DDC receiver extension, SSA-E trigger, Geissele DDC sight set, Geissele LPK w/ maritime bolt catch and DDC trigger guard, Super 42 spring and H1 buffer, B5 Sopmod coyote stock, and a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x LPVO tanodized OPMOD edition.

The 10.3 URG-I is mated to an Aero Precision burnt bronze cerakoted receiver set, UTG tanodized (Made in USA) receiver extension with Super 42 & H3 buffer, SB Tactical SBA-4 FDE pistol brace, SSA trigger, Magpul coyote MBUS set, and a Primary Arms 2.5x tanodized OPMOD special edition prism sight.

I really like the look of that SFCT, good substitute for the A2 birdcage. And, you can mount your SF suppressor on it...

I prefer the Warcomp. SFCT pushes the muzzle down too much for my liking.

In regards to your statement above, you think the 3 prong WarComp is less effective than the Closed Tine Warcomp?

No, to me the CT Warcomp has too much downward compensation compared to the regular Warcomp.

I had one for awhile when running a TA31, worked very well. If running a Magpul MBUS Pro rear, it fits absolutely perfect.
