I've messed with ejection seat seat pans a few times.  It's not a very large space so certainly needs to be broke down the way they have it.  I wonder what they're taking out to fit it though.  F18 seat pans are pretty well packed tight not sure how the Air Force loads their's out.

They have been going in and out of stock every few days.   I got mine a couple of weeks ago.    Hours after I ordered they showed out of stock and then two days later they were back in stock.   My pistol shipped a week after that.

I am happy with mine.   It has loosened up quite a bit and packs into a small enough bag that you could carry it about anywhere.   For me, the application is the same as for a pilot.   I will keep it packed away in the vehicle for 99.99% of the time but when I break it out it will because I really really need it.
