Hello there, proud new owner of an Estonia reference rifle. These have a comparatively short handguard because of the gas piston system. Looking for a mount that will put the light farther forward towards the end of the barrel. This is the first time I've dealt with a shorter handguard like this and I need recommendations. Thanks in advance

As with most things light related, Arisaka makes a mount for the Scout Pro that pushes the light a little further forward over the OEM mount and can be cantilevered off the fromt of the rail.

The Trex Arms light bar (made by Arisaka) can be used but requires their Scout Pro adapter for use with the Pro models. This cantilevers the light even further forward off the end of the rail compared to the Arisaka inline mount.

I found the Trex and i think thats what it needs - like 3" of forward cantilever. The Arisaka seems a bit short.

Maybe Trex is the ticket.

The T-rex arms lightbars are indeed what you seek.

I use a variety of these on my MLC chassis's.

Is it stable with the adapter for the Pro series?
