Is there a difference between the Receiver Pivot and the Takedown Detent springs? They look exactly the same.

They are exactly the same.

The safety selector and ejector springs are identical to each other but different from the pivot and takedown springs.u

A FYI, those springs and detent's have a knack of launching in orbit, not to be seen until the next time you move furniture.

A few spares are never a bad idea.

Tell me about it. I've built a few lowers in the past, but had to refresh my memory a little hense this thread. What should have taken me only a few minutes to build ended up taking me well over an hour. I spent most of my time moving furniture and crawling on the floor searching for the front detent that went flying several times. I even stopped to ordered a pack of 10 from Brownells because I finally gave up looking, but not even 5 minutes afterwards, I found the missing detents on my coffee table.
