Of these two, which would be your choice for a low power adjustable riflescope?

Pricing looks very similar between the two...

Used both prefer the Steiner. IMO it has a better eye box. If you don't need the extra 2x then the 4 oz saved helps too.

I'd say the Steiner is probably the better optic but Vortex is probably going to have better/easier CS. Vortex lends itself a bit better to precision, as does the 6x, but the Steiner is a bit quicker.

The Steiner is also 5.4oz lighter, but they're otherwise comparable dimensionally.

Personally? I'd go Steiner. But I'd rather have light weight than higher magnification for my uses. If your uses would be better served by an extra 2x, vortex.

I’ve had both.
I still have the Steiners.
So far, each of my buddies that has tried my Steiner P4xi has bought their own.
Steiner.

I have several Steiners if that means anything- I think it’s a great scope
DSG Arms has good prices occasionally, sign up for their newsletter and you’ll get notified , 463 or so if I remember correctly
Dvor had a killer deal several months ago- 379

Edited for prices- also I really like the factory throw lever
