They come with a 1/10 twist barrel.  What load, or more specifically, which bullet weight seems to do the best in your rifle?
From what reviews Ive seen so far, it seems the heavier loads 175-180gr seem to get the best results, in terms of small groups.
I got out of 308 a number of years ago but the itch is back I think I will scratch it soon.

I shoot only factory ammo, but FGMM 168's and 175's pretty equally well. 147 fmj's the usual 2-4moa.

I've only shot 168g (FGMM) but it shot well.

FGMM is still very popular but I have gone all in on Hornady 178 ELDX.

I just got a used S&W M&P 10 Sport with 16 1/2" barrell and would like to know also.I have heard the 168-180 grain loads work best. I have some 150,165 grain loads to try out.I plan on using it as a go to deer rifle. It is less than a year old hardly looks like it was shot too much.It was $849 with a Firefield Reflex sight,3 25 round Pmags and a Flambeau Hard case. I have wanted one since this spring when I saw they were out,got lucky in the 3 digit lottery and found this deal.

I have 3 and they all like 175 and 180 but shoot everything else plenty good.One does not like 165 sst.Power pro 2000 and smk 175s are hard to beat in all 3.

I had one that would regularly do 1 MOA or better with 168 gr FGGM or clone loads using 168 gr Nosler HPBT bullets.
