Anyone know if the Samson MFG Vertical Grip has a screw off bottom? I'm wondering if it will hold a CR123 battery or if it's open on the bottom.

I know that the Evolution does not have storage capabilities. It does separate in order to leave the mounting lug on the rail.

I think that's how the Samson works as well(separates). I have an email in to Samson to find out before I order.

Confirmed from Samson that you cannot store anything inside the VFG. I think it's a good idea though.

I ordered one anyway because I want to try it.
