Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ryobu full size router with 5D Tactical jig?

I've got a R163 router and I'd prefer to not buy another router if I can avoid it.  It's not listed as a confirmed fit on the 5D website.  Any chance someone here has used one with good results?

The main issue you’re going to have is not having a base plate (required) to fit your router.

In addition, on the PRO model you need the correct ReadyMILL to directly thread on the router shaft.

Also, from their ReadyMILL chart it doesn’t appear they plan to support that router. They are getting ready to support several full size routers.

Looks like I'm buying another router.  Drat.

I suppose I should do it their way for best results.
