Are there any issues with running a Magpul BUIS PRO with a fixed front sight? (It will be on a Colt 6933 if that matters.) From what I have watched and read the Pro series is shorter than other sights. I also cannot find any photos of the Pro with a fixed front sight. Makes me think it won't work.

Thank you,

Alan

Not aware of an issue in conjunction with a standard front sight. They lie flatter (versus when deployed, standing up) than some others but there's no reason not to use one if that's what you want.

M4 standard aperature height is 1.4"(?) above top rail, IIRC.

MP PRO rear is listed as 1.41 ".

ETA: MP MBUS rear is listed as Center of aperture to top of rail: 1.42 in.

Either will work in conjunction with a FSBGB.

Magpul MBUS Pro rear sight (folded in this photo) with fixed A2 front sight.  Leupold Deltapoint mini-reflex set at absolute cowitness.

All work well together.  The Magpul MBUS Pro delayed length is designed to work with standard A2 fixed front sight.  I had no problem whatsoever zeroing it.
