Quoted: 10.5” barrel, adjustable gas block, Caliber 350 Legend Rounds reloads: Lil’gun powder 147gn crn bullet, 24.5gn powder. Gas block has 15 clicks. Currently on click 6. It is suppressed. Issue is too much gas back into bolt carrier, carbon locking it. Happens after 40 rounds. I order a 20% reduced spring. Any idea on which buffer weight would help. I need to reduce gas even more. Hoping to get down to 3 clicks. If anyone knows of cleaner powder for this cartridge plz share. Define what you mean by your bolt carrier getting carbon locked after 40 rounds. If you shoot it a little, it starts to get dirty, and won't cycle -- You may need more gas, not less. |

Bolt won’t move inside of carrier. I have beat it out.
On inspection the bolt is dirty and will not move. After applying cleaner and scraping it clean, it moves freely again. I don’t have a pix currently. |

Why don’t you lube your gun including inside the carrier where the bolt and gas rings ride?
If you keep it wet, carbon inside won’t matter. |

I'm not a 350 legend guy. But IMO if any rifle is locking up after only 40 rounds, something else is going on. Even the dirtiest import junk ammo I've ever used hasn't caused any of my rifles to carbon lock after 40 rounds. If the tolerances are that tight, I would be changing out the BCG. Something is out of spec.

Need more info. Something is wrong. I don't know shit about .350 legend but I've dumped a ton through ARs suppressed. A little lube and they just run. 1,000s of rounds without cleaning is normal.

I roll hornady 170 SP with 22.5 grains of lil gun and have shot well more than 100 rounds in a day. No issues at all. Green mountain barrel, BCM BCG and BCM upper receiver. I run a 16 inch barrel and a 12.5
10.5 seems awful short for a 350 legend with that much powder in an AR. Who makes that barrel? What length gas system? Pistol? Carbine? |
