I've been buying from them for around 30 years. From their ads in Shotgun News back in the old days. They wouldn't have been around that long if they weren't reliable and offered good products at a good price.
Right now shipping is slow and more problematic than usual, but if there are delays it probably isn't going to be at AIM. |

none better than AIM Surplus, been a customer of there's for over 20 years.
Their old store was right outside the steel mill where I worked. Cases of 556 for $170, 9mm for $110, oh those were the days

They are good to go but they are not the speediest out there when it comes to getting the order out the door. They are not really bad, just not as fast as some. My last three or four orders have taken between 3-5 days to ship, then the constant delays in actual shipping. Expect an order to arrive in a week to two weeks after placing the order.

Aim Surplus is legit. Got a whole bunch of bits and bobs and mags from them in the last couple years.
Last week, I got an email from AIM saying they had some BCM uppers in stock. Ordered a 16" LW MCMR-13 BFH late Friday evening. Upper shipped from Ohio on Monday morning, and came in to me in Florida yesterday. FYI, those uppers are still in stock, and they're excellent. |

It finally arrived. When I got up the next morning after my last post I finally had the tracking number and then USPS had it to me in just a couple of days after they received it.
Now I am having problems with Magpul. They've had my order for 7 days and took my money 5 days ago, two were weekend days, but they do say up front that they may not ship for 5 to 7 business days and since it has only been five days so far, so I am not too concerned...yet. What irks me is they took my money out of my account within hours of opening on Monday morning (placed the order after hours on a Friday) but as of right now, the order has not been processed yet. COVID my ass, people are using that as an excuse to get away with stuff they would never have been able to get away with before the country went bat-crap crazy. Midway is back to their usual fast out the door shipping and even Brownells has stepped up their game with fast fulfillment of orders and shipping, and Primary Arms has never slowed down their getting orders out the door, so please, don't give me that COVID crap excuse; I was born at night but not last night. |
