Looking for opinions on the various loaders for 5.56 Magpul mags.

So many choices, currently buying bulk ammo, is there an advantage to buying ammo on clips for loading?

Thanks

MagLula loaders fill my needs for several calibers.

If you buy ammo on the strips, use the spoon.  That is my favorite way to load a mag.

If not, do what they said, maglula.

The important thing about the LULA is that it unloads too.  When you have that shitty day when Wolf poly turns two of your ARs into bricks, you can then go home and unload 50 mags pretty damn quick.  With the bench loader,  you can quickly reload all of them with quality brass cased ammo.  The bench loader is now much more compact than earlier designs and comes with a nice drawstring bag.  It easily fits in a range bag.

(I gave all my loose poly ammo to a friend with a Mini 14.)

Thanks for the ideas, going to get both, the bench loader and the individual mag one.

Yep Maglula for me and sometimes the striplula.
The big bench loaders and such are too much for my arthritis.

Maglula to unload, Striplula to load on stripper clips... so fast and easy.

If I was only loading I like strip loaders.

Since I show up to the range with issue duty ammo that I need to retain, I like the maglula to quickly empty the duty ammo and refill with ball.

So both.

Podavach U-Loader AR15 + AK Magazine Loader seems like the ultimate to me. It's just solid plywood. No mechanical parts to fail, break or wear out.

Everyone should have a Maglula for their ARs and for pistol mags too.
