@ghostjoe319 Your price is nice but can you provide more info on your lowers. Does your mag well have a nice flare like the Right to Bear one below. And can you measure the front take down lug holders. Below are some pics of a raw lower I got from Right to bear. I really like it for a few reasons. Mag well has a nice flare. Front take down lug holders/lobes or whatever there called are nice and thick. And a few other things. I took some pics of it next to an anodized lower I got from American made tactical. The only thing I didn't like about the Right to Bear lower is where the receiver extension screws in. It seems the threads were milled down a little to much as in the groves are not as deep as the American made tactical and some of my other regular lowers like Spikes, Black Rain, AXTS, Grey Ghost. AMT on the left RTB is the raw https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4853/44480446960_e81994116e_h.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4849/44480447270_ca12eee84f_h.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4891/46297532051_2d560c87df_h.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4810/46297531961_28b193b5f1_h.jpg I don't know if you can see or tell by what I mean that the threads are not as apparent or sharp points. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4864/46297532231_a07f533c8b_h.jpg @DaveP1 Want to know what you think of the thinner retaining lobes or what ever you call them for the front take down pin. I personally don't like it. I like them a little thicker. @PursuitSS What do think. View Quote I have never had any problems with them and if I remember correctly I have built 10 guns based on their lowers, they are good lowers all of them have been in spec and I don't have any rattles or loose fit on the uppers I use on them.. If you can catch them on sale they are really a good bargain now a days. |

I was asking if I should be concerned about the thinner eylets on the front takedown on the American made tactical lower.
I like the thicker ones on the RTB ones. What I didn't like on the RTB lower is the where the receiver extension screws in as I said above. Didn't seem like the channels on the threads were deep enough. They may have been at one time then someone came along and ran a reamer through it or did something as the crest of the threads were not sharp and pronounced like all my other non 80% lowers. I like the RTB lowers but don't know if they were light blems because of that or if they all will come that way. @DaveP1 what do your threads look like. |

Orders are rolling out. Typically 3-5 business days is the time for them to process right now due to the high demand from the holiday rush. If you will, email me at [email protected] with your order number and I will send you over your tracking number.

Don't forget to take pictures. I still see your waiting for yours. I couldn't pass up the price again with RTB and ordered 6 of them. 3 anodized with safe fire engraved and 3 raw no markings. I got them on Monday. These I noticed right away that the front takedown lug eyelets are not as thick as the first ones I got from RTB. Im going to caliper them and see what they are. The mag well has a nice flare to them as before. |

I'll add Ceratac as a good place to buy lowers from. Bought 4 anodized, safe/fire, flared mag, Cerro forge. 39.99.
Not as fast of shipping as RTB(who are great as well) |

Just pulled the trigger on 6. Have 5 bare TM lowers that I ordered by mistake (thought I put anodized ones in my cart). I don't want to mess with anodizing, and/or etching the Fire/Safe markings. View Quote Also as an addendum to my original post regarding these lowers: the rear pocket ended up being milled a hair too deep and wide so my lower has a bit more play than I find on my other milspec lowers. I just sold a geissele gas block, so I've got the funds to try again with a different 80% mfg. |

Quoted: Etching is actually a really easy process that I was able to manage myself with some salt water, q tips, wires, and two or three 9v batteries. Here is a link to a guy that does stencils for electro etching. The process is not as involved as you might expect. There are several youtube videos detailing how to do it with what I found to be good results.
